S-Cross 2022
The video starts by showing the front of the S-Cross. We can see the new front that looks more aggressive because of the new bumper and headlamp design. The headlamps are all-new and use LEDs. There are also LED Daytime Running Lamps. The new grille has a hexagonal shape with a thick chrome slat in the between. There is a faux skid plate and a flat bonnet.
Design
The rear has also been completely redesigned. There are new split tail lamps that are connected via black strip. You also get a rear wiper with a washer, high mounted stop lamp and a rear fog lamp. Suzuki has used a lot of black plastic for the rear bumper and a faux skid plate to give it a rugged look.
Interior
Then we come to the interior, where you would see a mix of old and new elements. There is a new floating 9-inch infotainment system that comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The user interface of the infotainment system is also new. We might see the same infotainment system on the upcoming Baleno Facelift and 2022 Vitara Brezza.
There are newly designed analogue dials but the multi-information display is the same, only the graphics have been updated slightly. The multi-function steering wheel, AC vents, automatic climate control, gear knob and switchgear has been carried over once again.
2022 S-Cross is powered by a 1.4-litre BoosterJet turbocharged petrol engine that produces 127 hp of max power and 235 Nm of peak torque. It is offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. There is also Suzuki’s AllGrip AWD system on offer. Moreover, the hybrid system has been upgraded to now 48 Volts.
